Managing Director Jim Barker has over 40 years experience in the insurance and reinsurance markets, both in underwriting and broking.

For a number of years he was responsible, as Group Technical Director, for all back office broking functions at Lloyd's broker Swire Blanch, having been involved since the formation of the Company in 1984.

Since 2002 he has operated in the outsourcing sector, handling Syndicate reinsurance management, commutations, file reviews, loss reserve reviews and loss fund reviews.

​

In 2009 he formed Helo Insurance Services Ltd, specialising in loss reserve and loss fund reviews for underwriters, and technical back up for brokers.

Since that time, clients have included major Managing Agents and a niche Lloyd's broker.
